NON-ATTENDANCES

We are noticing an unfortunate increase in non-attendances of appointments. We kindly ask that patients cancel their appointments if they know they will not attend. By cancelling an appointment, it becomes free for someone else in need.

Between the 1^st March and 13^th March 2023, there were 91 non-attendances at Kingsway Surgery. This means that 21 hours of clinician time were wasted and that the cost of these missed appointments to the NHS was £2,730.00.  

Non-Attendances can have a huge impact across all areas and therefore it is really important that if you cannot attend, to cancel the appointment. Cancellations can be done by telephoning the surgery, emailing us at Kingswaypractice.norpely@nhs.net or by submitting the “Cancel an Appointment” form via our website.  

STAFF CHANGES  

We are delighted to announce that Pooja Parmar is our new Practice Manager, following the departure of Michelle Cank to new ventures. We’re sure patients will join us in wishing Pooja the best in her new position.
