RAPID HEALTH

A reminder that at the end of January, the practice implemented a new system called Rapid Health. This system is designed to help patients book and manage their appointments quickly and efficiently. In order to use this new system, patients must have their email address registered with us. If you do not think your email address is on record, please contact the practice. We have and continue to receive positive feedback from patients following the implementation of Rapid Health.

Please note that the Accurx system is still in place, however this is for routine, non-urgent appointment and enquiries only. Therefore, you will receive a response through Accurx within 48-72 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

If you feel the matter is of greater urgency, please either contact the practice directly by telephone, or depending on severity of symptoms, NHS111 or 999.

BANK HOLIDAY CLOSURES

Please note that the practice will be closed on Friday 18th April 2025 (Good Friday) and Monday 21st April 2025 (Easter Monday) due to the national bank holidays.

HOLIDAY PRESCRIPTIONS

When putting in holiday prescription requests to your Pharmacy or directly to the practice, please ensure you add the dates you are travelling. This allows our Prescribing Team to process these requests with greater ease.

STRESS AWARENESS MONTH

April is Stress Awareness Month. There are Physical and Mental signs of Stress, as well as changes in behaviour. Physical signs can include headaches/dizziness, stomach problems and chest pain. On the other hand, mental signs can include difficulties concentrating, feeling overwhelmed, struggling to make decisions or being forgetful. Behavioural signs of stress can include sleeping too much or too little, eating too much or too little, snapping or irritability and drinking or smoking more. Not everyone has all these symptoms when suffering from stress. If you feel you may be suffering from stress, try visiting the NHS or Mind website for techniques to help manage symptoms. Alternatively, please see a clinician at the practice if you are struggling or contact NHS 111 if we are closed.
