NON-ATTENDANCES

We have previously mentioned about a high volume of appointment non-attendances at the practice recently. In October, there were 133 missed appointments for the Nursing Team and 99 missed appointments for the GP and ANP Teams.

These missed appointments equate to 49 hours of clinician time wasted.

If you are unable to attend your appointments, please telephone or contact the practice to cancel the same. By cancelling, this then opens the appointment up for patients who need it.

CHRISTMAS PRESCRIPTIONS  

If your prescription is due over the festive period, please provide the surgery with reasonable notice (at least a week in advance) so that we have ample to time to process your prescription request and ensure you have medications over Christmas. We unfortunately cannot guarantee any prescription orders made on the 22^nd and 29^th December will be done same day.  

CHRISTMAS JUMPER MONTH

We will be in our best festive wear for the month to support the Save the Children foundation. This has become an annual tradition at the surgery and should anyone wish to donate, we will be posting a donation link on our social media platforms in due course.

FESTIVE CLOSURES

The surgery will close on Friday 22^nd December and will re-open at 8:00am on Wednesday 27^th December. The surgery will then be closed from Friday 29^th December and re-open on Tuesday 2^nd January at 8:00am.
