BOOKING AT FRONT DESK   

Unfortunately, we are unable to book appointments on the day at the front desk. If you would like an appointment on the day, please call the surgery directly at 8:00am. Alternatively, you can also book appointments online or by using the Accrux Triage system (which has replaced Engage Consult) available on our website.

FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS COVID RECOVERY  

As the NHS is now in the covid recovery period, face to face appointments now do not necessarily require a telephone tirage. Therefore, you may be offered a face to face appointment in the first instance by our reception team, rather than a telephone call, for matters that may require an examination, such as potential chest infections.

SHINGLES VACCINATIONS

From the 1^st September 2023, patients turning 65 and 70 will be eligible for a Shingles Vaccination, in addition those already aged between 70 – 80. We have been supplied with the Shingrix shingles vaccination, which is suitable to be administered to everyone in these cohorts. If you believe you may be eligible, please contact the practice in September to arrange an appointment for the same.

ACCURX TRIAGE SYSTEM & NHS APP

As written above, the Accurx Triage system replaced Engage Consult at the end of June. While slightly different, the system functions in much the same way as the previous Engage Consult software. The Accurx Triage system is for non-urgent matters only and therefore appointments may not be offered for the same day. For any urgent matters, please still telephone the practice at 8:00am. The Accrux Triage system is available to access on our website homepage.

In addition, we would also like to recommend downloading the NHS App if you have a smartphone. The NHS app allows you to book appointments, order prescriptions, check NHS advice, view your record and check referrals and hospital appointments. You are also able to link the NHS App to your existing Patient Online Access, if you have previously signed up for the same at the practice.  

FLU & COVID VACCINATIONS 2023

The Surgery will be administering Flu and Covid vaccinations as part of the annual NHS initiative at the beginning of October. Eligible patients will be contacted directly by the practice to arrange an appointment for the same at the end of September.
